One of the social affect of fasting is making equality between different classes of society.. in a routine life, people, usually, cannot realize the hardship of hunger, so they don’t motive to help poor people. Fasting help us to perceive hungry‘s hardship and help them. The Iranian literary, Onsorol-Ma’ali said: “the biggest duty of fasting is: Give to poor whatever you didn’t eat during day, so the benefit of suffering appears.”
One of the prays that Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H.) recommended reading it after every prayer in Ramadhan is:
This pray (doa) includes 14 requests from God. 13 requests refer to social problems that show specific attention of Islam to society.
That last point is the issue of Zakate-Fetreh that is Vajeb in Islamic commands. Muslims should pay it to poor people.
In advance, I congratulate Eyde-Fetr to all Muslim brothers.

Do you know shahid Ayatollah Murtada Mutahhari (download the clip)? He was one of the best students of Imam Khomeini and Allame Tabatabaei. He was an Islamologist in every aspect, philosopher, aware of political and social issues, a brave campaigner against diversions, a strong interpreter of Quran, an effective lecturer, a virtuous man, a high level jurisprudent, etc.
Less than 3 months after Islamic revolution of Iran, he was martyred in a terrorist mission by a silly group called Forghan. They couldn’t bear seeing a person who bravely defends the pure Islam.

“He was the outcome of my life.” Imam Khomeini stated after his martyrdom.
However, I have searched a lot to find his books in English. He has almost 90 valuable book titles in different subjects in Persian. After a long searching I found a website which published some of them. Surely, they can be useful for everyone who read them, even for non-Muslims. I put the link of 20 titles that I found:

On June 11, I posted an article “Does Islam Encourage Terrorism?” Only 5 days later Mr. Ben commented me that he wrote an issue and disprove some wrong thing in my blog. Now I want to emphasize my previous idea and say something completely wrong in his issue:
At first let me to bring the clear meaning of ro’b (رعب) that Mr. Ben trying to attach terror to it. The first and best meaning of it in Arabic is frighten as a verb and fear as a noun. How Mr. Ben translated this such as terror though it doesn’t mean terror even as a second or third meaning. It is considered he is totally ignorant of Arabic or he tries to deceive us?! And you know one of the meanings of terror in English is overawe, horrendous, or an extreme fear that are not the first meaning. So when you want to translate a word from a language to another one you should at first attend to the first meaning.
Second, all of these verses that he has brought are about disbelievers who attacked to prophets and his followers. Allah helped Muslims to protect his religion. He put fear in kuffar’s heart, so they are afraid of Muslims. It is not related to terror at all. It is just a kindness from God to his lovers. Mr. Ben! If you are upset of God’s help, you can say to him! Why you change the fact? Why you change the meaning of words?!!
Mr. Ben! Look at the history. Who is the real terrorist? Just in the Second World War 50 millions of innocent people were killed. Who killed them? Muslims? There was no Muslim country in that war. Why you play with words? See the reality! How many wars were begun during in 20th century by non-Muslims? Who starts world war first and second? Who attacked to Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, Kosovo, Bosnia, Lebanon, and Palestine? Muslims?! Of course you can not deny these disgraces that made by America, Israel and other anti-Muslims.
This kind of misinterpretation that Mr. Ben has done it, can just called deceiving. Mr. Ben! Your article is deceiving some innocent people who are searching the right way. If a person knows a little Arabic and the basic order of Islam, surely, he will refuse your speech. But you should understand that God will show his path to seekers. Maybe you can just pervert them a little. But, with the help of God the right seekers find their path, God willing…

The question very directly pointing a finger on the religion of Islam as a whole, (as oppose to this specific sect, who believe in terrorism) and implying that there is something inherently wrong in it.
I would question the very mind who raises such an absurd question. It shows a profound lack of knowledge about Islam. One can not even juxtapose the word terrorism next to Islam, both are contradictory terms. In true Islam, terror does not exist”. In Islam killing a human is an act that is equal in gravity to unbelief. No person can kill a human being. No one can touch an innocent person, even in times of war. There is no such thing as Muslim Terrorist; a terrorist can not be a Muslim; a Muslim can not be a terrorist. Islam, always, in all circumstances approbates peace. The Qur’an regards human life as being exalted and inviolate. Islam consider murder as one the gravest sins and as a capital crime. In Islam even in war fare there are rules to be observed; even trees and vegetation, Read the rest of this entry »

What’s Islam?
Part One
By Syed S. Haidar
The word Islam is derived from the word slim, which means reconciliation, peace, submission and deliverance. Before Islam, all previous revelations had been sent to particular nations. Each of these religions either had the characteristic of being a national religion or was later transform into a national religion. For the first time in human history Islam came as the religion for all humanity and the Prophet Mohammad (Peace and blessing be upon him) was the first to be honoured with a duty towards all humanity.
Islam is a religion of peace and tolerance – like all monotheiaest religion of the world.
Prayers, (Salat), Fasting, Pilgrimage, Arms giving -Charity- Social Corporate Responsibility and defending it from annihilation (Jihad), are the main pillars of Islam. It has now almost seventy-two sub-sects or school of thoughts, which varies from each others. However, all Muslim believe in the fundamental principals of Islam. They are united in the House of God – Kaaba or Baiytullah, which is in Mecca, during Umrah and Hajj. They can pray in different sects of mosque so here; there is no difference in basic Islamic reverence. They’re over one billon Muslim in the world today and almost fifty two countries who are predominately Muslim countries. However this term Muslim world, the Arab world is not a correct terminology. There are more Muslims in some places than others. There are Muslims who have restructured Islam in accordance with their thoughts and culture. The prerequisite for Islam is that one should “really” believe and live accordingly. The EU has over fifteen million Muslims.
It is the fastest growing way of life of the present world. Islam is the religion of unity. That is to say in the field of faith, this is religion based on believing only in one God, the Lord and Sovereign. Unity, in terms of world vision, the view of life and the social system all call for the unity of humanity, brother and sisterhood, equality in basic rights and the abolition of all discrimination based on colour, race. Islam has declare all people have honour, with no socio- political, material – spiritual, racial cultural discrimination whatsoever, and has awarded them with a status above all other living things.
As soon as possible I will post an article with this title “Dose Islam Really Support Terrorism?!”
God willing…
